Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public access to a good deal of warrant information, and Berrien County publishes contacts for every office that holds a piece of it. The hard part is knowing which office has the piece you want. A warrant is not kept in one place. The court that issues it sets the charge and the bond. The sheriff's office serves it and can say whether it is still outstanding. A bench warrant from a missed court date stays with the court that set the case, and a Friend of the Court show-cause matter follows its own path on the courthouse's fourth floor. Michigan also has no public statewide warrant search. MiCOURT shows case dockets rather than warrant status, and ICHAT leaves warrant information out entirely. Check one office, find nothing, and it is easy to assume you are clear when you are not. This site gathers the addresses, phone numbers, request steps, and limits for each office in one place.

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for outstanding warrants and what the county's curated Most Wanted page does and does not show
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise from a missed date and which court holds the order
- Charge-based warrants: how an arrest warrant search request moves from a police report to a prosecutor review and a judge's signature
- Resolving a warrant: the steps that start with an attorney and end at the issuing court, including bond and a motion to recall
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Michigan court, the Berrien County Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through at a counter
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or listing on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or the sheriff's office that holds the record can confirm whether a warrant exists or has been recalled. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here include search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps the site free to read. We do not control what they charge or what their results contain, and their data is not an official warrant check.
