Berrien County Warrant Records Berrien County Warrant Records

This page lays out what data we collect when you visit, how we use it, and when it might be shared with others. Using any page on this site means you accept the practices described here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

When you type a name or a date of birth into one of the search tools here, that input goes straight to the outside provider that runs the search. Their system processes it and returns the results. We do not store or log those search terms on our end.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you send an email, we keep the message so we can reply. It stays with our team, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.

Data We Gather Automatically

Each time a page here loads, our servers record some technical details about the visit:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Your browser and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you opened and how long you stayed
  • The site that referred you, if there was one
  • A timestamp for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device that show us how visitors move through the pages. Analytics services help us pull that traffic data together, so we can see which pages get used and where people leave. Your browser settings let you block cookies at any time. Some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Warrant Data on File

This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell databases of warrants or personal warrant-record information. We publish general guidance about where Berrien County warrant records are held and how to check them through the Sheriff's Records Division, the Trial Court that issues warrants, and the Friend of the Court for support matters. Michigan has no public statewide warrant search, and this site does not build one. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we collect about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or files about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

The search boxes here are powered by outside companies. Anything you enter into one of those tools is handled under the partner's own privacy policy rather than this one. Those partners set their own retention and sharing practices, and we do not control them. Read the partner's policy before you submit a search.

Links to Other Websites

Across the site we link to Berrien County and Michigan court pages, sheriff and city police pages, records request forms, legal aid groups, and outside search tools. Clicking one of those links takes you off this site, and their privacy policy governs the visit from that point. Read it before you share personal details.

Some advertising partners may track activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Some information may reach:

  • Search partners that handle the queries you run here
  • Analytics services we use to measure traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on these pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

We follow standard security practices to protect the data we collect, but nothing connected to the internet is bulletproof. We do what we can to keep your information secure, and we cannot promise that a breach will never happen.

Users Under 18

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us and we will remove it.

Your Data Rights

Michigan law may give you additional rights over your data. The Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq., governs access to records held by Michigan public bodies, which does not cover a private site like this one. Even so, you can ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of what we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Erase your data on request
  • Opt you out of certain kinds of processing

Updates to This Policy

We may change this privacy policy later. When that happens, the revised version goes up on this page with a new effective date. Check back if you want to follow how we handle visitor information.
